Awards for Excellence

The MLC Gymnastics Club offers three
Awards for Excellence every year. The aim is to recognise and provide
financial assistance to three competitive gymnasts, who have achieved
outstanding results at a State or National Level in the previous
year. The successful applicants will receive financial assistance
for payment of part gymnastics tuition fees for the Year. The assistance
does not include uniform, travel or levies.
- The gymnast must be a current MLC Gymnastics Club member
training at the MLC Gym.
- The gymnast must have achieved outstanding results in either
the National or International Stream at a state or national
Level.
- The gymnast should be a good role model in the Gym, demonstrating
a willingness to learn, follow the coaches' instructions,
and a strong desire to work to their full potential.
- The gymnast should maintain a good attitude in training
and competition.
- Should the nominated gymnast retire, or leave the Club,
the award may be given to another gymnast.
- The decision is made by the Director of the Gymnastics Club
with the Head of Sport and Director of Physical Education
and Sport
